NaveLight
A presentation system that does not need the internet
How KED Studios designed and built NaveLight: an identity, an operator interface for low-light rooms, and speech recognition that cues scripture on its own.

The problem
Church production teams run live services on unreliable venue networks, with volunteers operating software built for professional AV engineers.
The idea
Make the software operate like a person who already knows the service: offline by default, and listening for the next cue rather than waiting for a keystroke.
The design
An identity built on a single idea: the live caption line with the newest word lighting up. Alongside it, an operator interface designed for low-light rooms and one-hand use.
The technology
Offline-first desktop architecture, multi-output real-time rendering, and speech recognition driving verse lookup on the local machine.
The outcome
NaveLight ships as a KED product, designed, built and launched in-house.
